A little about me
Hello there! I figured since we would be spending the next several dream cycles together, it would only be fair that I tell you a little about myself. My name is Ariella McManus (Ari for short), and I'm presently a 6th year Ravenclaw prefect. While you won't often see me on chat, or Merlin forbid, the Quidditch pitch, I have been known to lurk about the various forums and run a few other classes, so hopefully I'm not a stranger (just strange). When I'm not busy zipping around on my broomstick causing havoc, I enjoy the domestic life of a married witch with one lovely daughter, who enjoys nothing more than puttering around the kitchen (hopefully not causing havoc). I also enjoy playing Guild Wars, Sims 4, and am totally, absolutely obsessed with Doctor Who. And despite popular rumour, I really don't bite, so please feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions about the class or just want to chat.
The Basic Rundown
What does a raven, a king, the colour blue, and school have in common? The answer is quite simple, my dear. Everything..and nothing at all. Confused yet? Well hopefully you won't be for long. I promise to do my best to try to help shed some light on the subject.
One thing is certain. All of these elements can be found in our dreams. Who here has never had a dream which made absolutely no sense at all in the light of day? And yet, if we pay careful attention to the images found within those very dreams, they may not only end up making perfect sense, but shed some very important insight to our own characters and situations as well.
If eyes are the window to the soul, then dreams are the window to our subconscious. Throughout history, all manners of prophecies are a result of a vision received in a dream. There is absolutely no reason at all why you should not have the same courtesy. You may not leave here being the next Nostradamus and I'm not claiming that royal personages will be knocking your door down for your services, but at least your dreams will make a little more sense. And you just might learn something about yourself as well, too. So if you're ready, just close your eyes and let's get some sleep....
